Since 2010, Janus College Preparatory & Arts Academies, Inc. (JCPAA) has provided technique-based training/instruction for youth, teens, and adults in the Fine and Performing Arts. Located in the heart of downtown Milwaukee's Arts community, within the historic Plankinton Building, we teach theory and technique in music, dance, theater, and visual arts. Students receive professional arts instruction, participate in performances, and receive support to help meet their personal needs.
Our mission is to strengthen youth and young adults through exposure to the arts, provide opportunities for creative expression, and provide opportunities for youth to explore their creativity and talents through the arts. Whether students become artists themselves, work in arts-related fields, enjoy the arts as patrons or support the arts, our vision is for the arts to contribute positively to young people's lives.
